Hubert Schäffenacker (1921–2006) was a German ceramist whose cermacic art-work is deeply rooted in the aesthetics of the mid-century modern era, drawing inspiration from both brutalist architecture and abstract art.

Based in Ulm, Germany, he crafted ceramic pieces that manifest sculptural boldness. His designs echo the rugged, geometric forms of brutalism while embracing the clean lines and organic textures that define deepness, abstraction and ancient symbolism.
