Evolving from our heritage of our European roots, the northern as well the southern, our insatiable curiosity for all aspects of life led us to meet and to understand profoundly the eastern hemisphere´s sense for space and shape. Of adding and reducing. Of quietness and tranquility. Of a harmonious flow, where no element is superfluous, where nothing can be left out. We defy any traditional understanding of design by dissolving the borders of classical space design, furniture pieces or unique artistic objects.
Things are no longer considered separately – they rather reinforce each other. Whereas all interacting elements are mutually dependent, they strengthen and encourage the space´s balance.
Thus, each aspect of creation plays his part into a wider complex of an architectural narrative.

Where we come from
Ever since we got in touch with creativity, our understanding of design was never limited in simply creating never seen shapes. Either in our own creations or in partnered arts we have ever been seeking for that specific aspect, that bridges contemporary spirit with ancient techniques, a mastered handcraftsmanship provided. Furniture and objects, that are locally produced, according to all traditional handicraft rules.
Our creations celebrate manual production, in small quantities or even limited editions. Whenever possible, each piece is handmade in carefully selected manufactories throughout Germany, always avoiding mass-production or unnecessary delivery chains.
We wholeheartedly support local craftmanship in order to resurrect almost forgotten techniques. Because we believe in the richness of European heritage, in the survival of traditions.

How we work
Indulging our passion for conceptual works, we love structuring, frameworking, rethinking and we take nothing for granted. We are constantly learning and understanding the nature of all things. Comprehending everything, that is.
We advise and consult clients in conceptual tasks and developing strategies, no matter the size or the topic of a project. Whether it is about to create a new recreation hotel, enrich a restaurant´s ambience, rethink a museum, or design a spoon or a shoe. At bottom, the process of creation remains alike.
Alongside with our clients, and all, in broadest sense, relevant partners, we initially free ourselves from unwarranted influences, which eventually may dictate misleading bias. We cooperate while we analyze, prioritize, synthesize. And do not stop until we complete a strong, holistic and most of all individual concept.

Even if rooted in different countries and even though our traditions, educations and influences may vary, we have this one decisive aspect in common: The perception of quality. The perception of inner coherence as well as the sensitivity of proportions. We have merged, and we continue to do so, our education in art and crafts, in architecture and design, in conceptual as well as in concrete concepts of living.
We come from the art sector, graphic design and fashion industry. From the kitchen as well from the interior retail sector. Hence, we are sensitized in a deeper meaning of design, shapes and harmonious flows.
Everything we create or we work with, must meet our highest expectations in all levels, in terms of design, material, production and ultimately the marriage between the initial concept and the corresponding result. In a nutshell, our standard is uncompromising quality.
